The Modern Cloth Nappy is becoming a thing. And at Aussie Bumblebeez, we celebrate every new and returning customer, and are forever happy and grateful to play our part in the MCN revolution.

It’s not just about the nappy. It’s not just about reducing waste and the landfill of millions of disposable nappies. It’s not just about ecology and environment. The water, energy, and landfill saved by swapping out some, if not all the nappy changes over the years.

Well it is, but it isn’t. 

It’s about you, and your bub. It’s about the feeling you get at every nappy change that you’re making a difference. It’s the knowing that bub is going to stay drier and be more comfortable in a Bumblebeez nappy. And the kicker? You’ll save lots and lots of dollars. Water. Energy. Pulp. Bleach and other nasties. The hated plastic.

Aussie Bumblebeez was started by me, Julie, when the next generation down from me started having their babes. My son was born around 30 years ago, and never knew a disposables nappy – they just weren’t around as much, and were horrifically expensive. And 30 years later, they are the new normal….

And it kills me :(

I couldn’t get that thought out of my head. I started thinking about the landfill and damage that had occurred over the last 30 years. I started looking into cloth nappies again, and was so excited to see that they too had evolved. I began learning the new way, started working with manufacturers and testing samples. And I kept learning, and testing, and Aussie Bumblebeez was born.

But it’s not just me any more… I needed testers… and feedback.

So the Aussie Bumblebeez family has grown now to a bunch of new mums, a Nannie or two, a few amazing aunties. And our large, incredibly supportive families cheering from the sidelines. And as more little ones started arriving, we all set about making our world a better place for them to grow.

We are mums and dads. We are eco-warriors. We are passionate about reducing harm to our environment.
